Gallery ALL was established in 2013, and it is one of China’s first design galleries dedicated to exhibiting limited-edition furniture and design objects.
Aiming to facilitate a design dialogue between the East and West, the gallery has spaces in both Beijing and Los Angeles, allowing it to introduce exceptional designs to the Chinese market while promoting Chinese designers to a global audience. The gallery also boasts fabrication facilities in both China and the US, which encourages a more holistic approach to design, fabrication and display.
Gallery ALL is committed to introducing the public and collectors to the most cutting-edge and experimental design collections, pushes the boundaries of design through the exploration and experimentation of materials, intersecting the disciplines of architecture, technology, and design. With fabrication facilities in both Beijing and Tucson, Gallery ALL has unique research and production capabilities.
This serves to encourage progressive manufacturing practices, facilitates expert craftsmanship, and offers the designer a more holistic approach to design, fabrication, and display.

Founders Yu Wang (an architect) and Qinqyun Ma (the Dean at the USC School of Architecture) named their new project Gallery ALL to emphasize their goal of creating a crossroads for emerging designers, cutting-edge experimental design, and a center for educational ideas.
“The last 30 years in Chinese contemporary art capitalized on political uncertainty, social transformation, and even traditional historical manipulation in the fine arts,” says Qinqyun Ma. “Recently you see this emerging phenomenon of design being part of the cultural concern. That will have this force that will push the industry, the lifestyle, and the environment into something that is unseen before.”
