It gets even better! This year, I’ll have a new and important destination instigated by Tom Dixon. The Museum of Science and Technology will be an epicentre for the freshest ideas in communication, food culture, design and the digital industrial revolution. The renowned British designer Tom Dixon has invited a diverse group of leading global brands and young designers to showcase at the new place. MOST space promises to be one of the highlights in Milan, bringing together the latest innovations and trends in technology, culture and design.
Boca do Lobo, Delightfull, Portugal Brands, Flux®, Blu Dot, David Weeks Studio, MG Lab, along with other great exclusive design brands will be showcasing at MOST. Boca do Lobo has reserved a special surprise that will be revealed alsoat MOST.
As I will be staying a week at Milan, hopefully I will not miss the event Tortona Design Week, the pararel event to iSaloni which has been taking place for the last ten years in the area around Via Tortona, Via Savona and Via Stendhal – and that has undergone a complete makeover. Since 2011, the event has been given a new name, a new logo (designed by Stefano Giovannoni, the internationally renowned designer and a leading proponent of the neighbourhood’s revitalisation), and a new visual identity; all with the direct involvement of the neighbourhood’s leading businesses. Tortona Design Week is an event series aimed at supporting businesses and designers who choose to exhibit in the neighbourhood’s large industrial spaces. An unprecedented blend of big brands, worldwide recognised design stars, up-and-coming new talents arriving from all around the world makes the event a unique, transversal and multifaceted observation point on the industrial design scene.
If you can’t make it, don’t worry! I’ll bring you all the design novelties and I will make you experience all of the great products and design discussion.
