The Arches that create a way of escape to this party, to the references that comfort us, instantly recognized. An escape into a hyperbaroque reality.”

“I see our days as a hyperbole phenomenon. An exaggeration of the baroque culture, of the staging, of a search for the perfect image. These sculptures that I make reflect this, a search for the party, for the appearance, for the gold, trying to take them to the obvious exaggeration.” says the artist.

And now the artist is finishing a project of a set of sculpture pieces that he is preparing around the reign of D. João V and look for new ways to explore the ideas that he has been working on.
