This tableware and textiles in the form of extremely peculiar creatures were first seen at Design Miami back in December of 2018. Known as the L’Objet Haas Brothers collection, these exquisite handmade ceramics are now available for purchase.

These useful everyday items can also be seen as decorative art. Inspired by the landscape of the National Californian Joshua Tree Park, LA-based twins Simon and Nikolai Haas, also known as the Haas Brothers, worked with Elad Yifrach, the creative director and master craftsman of the brand L’Objet and together created a family of such interesting creatures that are both great ceramic art items but also awesome pieces of art.

‘Both the brothers and I have a strong affinity to the desert, especially Joshua Tree,’ explains Yifrach. ‘We imagined a lot of the pieces in the collection as fantasy creatures living in this magical place. It felt right to photograph them in the land in which they were imagined.’
The Haas Brothers are known for their mystical creations, but these time they metamorphosed into useful items such as bowls, porcelain plates, salad spoons, letters opener, serving bowls, and way more.
