If you were at Maison et Objet, you must have noticed the beautiful pieces resulting from the partnership between Vista Alegre Atlantis & Christian Lacroix Home. This is well seen when it comes to internationalize the portuguese porcelain, in a project that involved Sasha Walckhoff itself.
The creative director from the French brand visited the Vista Alegre factory in Ílhavo, Aveiro, and felt in love with this handmade ceramics. The know how of the portuguese brand it’s something unique, and priceless that no one can remain indifferent.
This partnership resulted in four distinct collections, “Butterfly Parade”, “Picassiete”, “Sol y Sombra” and “Fórum”, that can be combined with each others. And to present them they have chosen non less than one of the biggest international home trends event, the Maison et Objet. I hope you had the chance to visit their stand, but if you didn’t you can always check out the photographs from the high luxury brands photographer Grégoire Alexandre taken in the Vista Alegre palace in Ílhavo.
Combining the “know how” and quality from Vista Alegre (we can’t forget that it’s an 189 years old brand) and the elegance and aesthetics taste known from Christian Lacroix Home, the result its colorful, irreverent, baroque and contemporary, that no description can match the visual impact of them. These products started only selling at the Maison and Lacroix shops and partnerships shops, but soon will be sold at Vista Alegre shops too.
