The iconic British designer Lee Broom just opened a very elegant and gallery-like, art exhibition. Named of Park Life, this modern art exposition is set beneath the Space Furniture showroom in Sydney.

This exhibition has displayed more than 100 lights art pieces by Lee Broom, but it also showcases other works. This car park exhibition counts with lighting and furniture pieces combined with classical statues, giving it a very modern but also neat touch.

“Taking the form of a maze, Park Life will take guests on a poetic journey of discovery through hidden passageways, with tableaus and vignettes showcasing the brand’s lighting, furniture and accessories in a whole new light,” said the brand.

The contemporary artist was inspired by the 18th-century gardens that you would see in movies of that period. Lee Broom defines these gardens as places of escapism, amusement, and drama, and that’s what the artist had in mind when imagining and later on conceiving this contemporary art exhibition.

Once the visitors are inside the white box, they have to find their way into the maze-like exposition and go through rooms that are essentially connected with the previously visited. Broom took this great opportunity to debut a version of his Eclipse light, available as a pendant, chandelier and table lamp with a glorious polished gold finish.

This year, Lee Broom is not taking participation during Milan Design Week because he thinks that it is important to focus on the audiences that have supported the brand for years and that help with its incredible recognition.
