Maria Umievskaya, polish artist, has been interested in asian culture in the last years using this influence in her most recent creative projects. Using digitally manipulated images, Maria intersects art and architecture, traditional influences with modern, digital with tangible.
Unfortunately her work is visible mostly in contemporary japanese homes. Using several buildings — in the typical style of houses currently popular in japan – Umievskaya has visualized the idea, overlaying portraits, flowers and clothing onto the surface of the structure as if it has been hand-painted.
We do hope that in the near future her work can be present in other countries!
