Spanish design studio Masquespacio have created an immersive living room environment for Roca Tile at Casa Decor, a one-month long event that showcases different types of spaces developed by various designers and brands, set within in an ancient building in Madrid.

Masquespacio is an award-winning creative consultancy created in 2010 by Ana Milena Hernández Palacios and Christophe Penasse. Combining the two disciplines of their founders, interior design and marketing, the Spanish design agency creates branding and interior projects with modern design through a unique approach that results in fresh and innovative concepts rewarded with continued international recognition by media specialized in the design, fashion, and lifestyle trends. Masquespacio’s concept living room utilizes Roca ceramic tiles within the custom-design interior. In addition to the walls and floor, the tiles are utilized on all the furniture pieces too. Dubbed ‘Ceramic Dream’, space pays tribute to ceramics with a nod to contemporary Greco-Roman architecture and surrealist fantasies, all while capturing the idea of timelessness.

The polished finish and light-enhancing effects and reflectivity of porcelain tiles in luminous finishes, such as the indigo and cobalt blue are reminiscent of Marble Nouveau and the white tiles with ochre streaks are an homage to Marble Parana.
