The new MASQ collection designed by Masquespacio Studio in collaboration with Lucie Kaas are pieces blurring the boundaries between modern art and functional design.

Masquespacio‘s modern design MASQ collection consists of two mirrors, the woman AMAM and the man APAP and two mini vases fit for one flower, the woman RISUS and the man ONAM. The exclusive design pieces can easily be mistaken as contemporary art pieces for the home, but given a closer look, they reveal themselves to be functional objects.

The design brand‘s collection is inspired by pre-historic masques from Columbia but also has links to The Memphis Group, a design movement that inspired Masquespacio.



History was the starting point when they set out working on the collection, but it was vital for the duo to carry the products into the present in order to make them relevant. Another important goal was to add humor to make people smile.
