The newest luxury casino in LA is named SLS Las Vegas and it’s a 1,600-room luxury casino resort, project of sbe. It is the first major casino resort opening in Vegas in several years.
The enormous hotel has three separate towers with over 1,600 rooms, nine restaurants, three clubs, a spa with a salon, a 10,000-square-foot Fred Segal store, and a cabana-lined pool. It celebrated its opening with over-the-top fireworks and performances by Iggy Azalea and Lenny Kravitz.
SLS Las Vegas is a full-blown standalone property. It will include a restaurant by famed chef José Andrés, a branch of Katsuya by Starck, a “reinvention” of LA nightspot The Sayers Club, an outpost of Umami Burger, and several other nightlife, dining and entertainment experiences.
The luxury casino was a rebuild of the Sahara hotel costing $415 million. The resort is located at the north end of the Strip, a formerly unlucky area that has not shone for the nearby Stratosphere,
