The newest and most recent art exhibition by the high-end design brand Versace and one the most recognized personalities in the design world, Sasha Bikoff, arrived in Miami! Both have held hands and created one of the most ambitious modern art exhibitions of the year, South Beach Stories, specially made for Design Miami.
New York interior designer Sasha Bikoff has designed furniture that takes cues from looks in Versace’s old fashion campaigns for an art exhibition in Miami.
The furniture and pieces presented take you back to 1990’s Versace outfits and that was 100% intentionally made by the creator, Sasha Bikoff. In the exhibit that honors modern design, the designer presented the pieces alongside the vintage clothing they represented.

A feature of the exhibit was a surfboard headboard and bed covered in colorful sateen linens, decorated in the fashion house’s prints from decades ago. A golden wood coffee table topped with the sun provided a reference to a garment from the brand’s spring-summer 1993 collection.
The name of the luxury brand installation, South Beach Stories, comes from a book published by the Versace family in 1993 that celebrates Miami with fashion photographs by Doug Ordway, sketches by Manuela Brambatti and paintings by Roberto Juarez. I Lobo You absolutely loves Sasha Bikoff‘s work and this one is no exception.
