This furniture piece describes a further step of how to turn a weightless material like paper into a stable and organic solid form. The whole shell is made from irregular shaped rice paper sheets that is inspired by the classical Chinese horseshoe-back armchair.

Materials used are Bamboo paper and beech wood. Besides the very fashion design of the chair, it also thinks of the future by using paper, an idea that wouldn’t come up to mind for many people.

This is the prove that we can do amazing things with regular material, just need to use your imagination.
