Designed in collaboration with restaurant owner Leonid Shutov, the interior, and its creative design is described as “ultra-camp meets ultra-luxury” by Shayne Brady, co-founder of interior design studio BradyWilliams.
This restaurant design is suspended 30 meters above the atrium in the Leadenhall building designed by architecture firm Rogers Stirk Harbour + Partners.
“The ultimate goal was to create something quirky, eccentric and memorable that didn’t conform to typical thinking. Developing the notion of travel, which inspired the design at sibling restaurant Bob Bob Ricard, Bob Bob Cité is inspired by 21st-century design and future aviation travel.”
The restaurant design is reminiscent of a superyacht or a luxurious early-20th-century Zeppelin airship, the restaurant’s interior design project features railway-carriage booths that have been given a futuristic twist.
Shutov’s love of primary colors influenced the bold red and blue palette of the main dining room, complementing the existing yellow in the building’s architecture. A true merge between architecture, art and design. The furniture design itself also matches the entire ambiance, in here everything works harmoniously.
The restaurant design boasts three private dining rooms, each with a personal reception area that guests can use for pre-dinner drinks.
