Christies Auction Interiors Including Flair: The Fleur Cowles Collection that happened today was bidding two of Boca do Lobo tables.

2 Eden tables were auctioned at Christie’s today.

Eden is inspired by the mystic behind the name. This side table represents a part of the tree of knowledge and the tale of the birth of desire. Fully made of polished casted brass, with a delicately engraved top exposing the heart of a golden tree to the very heart of a home. Available in different sizes this is a relatively small piece that will leave no one indifferent to its shine. The tables auctioned were 10 ½ in. (27 cm.) high; 17 ½ in. (44.5 cm.) wide.

The auctioned tables have a series of “brothers” that distinguish from each other on the shape and size. All together, these magical tables create a big arrangement up to 14 tables called the eden series. The client can choose how many tables he wants and what are the sizes he prefers.

Boca was already been in a Christie’s auction before with one of the pieces at 50 Shades of Grey movie. It was the sideboard we can see on Mr. Grey’s apartment decoration. The piece at auction was the Symphony sideboard, the firts edition, designed by Diogo Carvalho for Boca do Lobo in 2011.
